We value morals and profession equally and make ceaseless self-improvement
Introduction:
The Institute of IoT is an independent research institution established by Shenzhen Polytechnic University, with scientific research platforms such as"Research Center for Industrial IoT Engineering Technology" granted by the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, "Laboratory for Industrial IoT Control Technology Engineering" granted by Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, "Collaborative Innovation Center of Internet of Things Application Technology" granted by the Ministry of Education of the PRC, and "Laboratory of Industrial IoT Heterogeneous Network Control Technology Engineering" granted by the Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality. The Institute owns high-end research equipment of tens of millions of RMB.
Currently, the Institute of IoT is conducting research in the following areas:
(1)Industrial Internet of Things/Industrial Internet
The research in this area includes the interconnection of industrial production equipment, identification and positioning of people and goods, energy-saving control and automatic energy consumption detection, production equipment status detection and fault call, remote notification of important information at production sites, industrial emission reduction, and environmental monitoring, and other common key technologies generated by various demands.
(2)Industrial AI Technology
Through the use of artificial intelligence technologies such as machine vision, speech recognition, data mining, and deep learning, industrial AI application research is carried out, including equipment fault diagnosis and preventive maintenance, product defect detection, product identification and positioning, production safety early warning, and visual guidance.
(3)Wearable Technology
By using wearable devices combined with AR/MR and other technologies, industrial site inspection, equipment maintenance guidance, intelligent control of equipment, and other application studies have been carried out.
