SZPU actively develops international student exchange programs, forms the characteristic curriculum mode of ""major + culture"", and introduces SZPU's advantageous majors and traditional Chinese culture courses, attracting students from Germany, Denmark, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and many other countries. From 2016 to 2020, a total of 2,000 international students in 62 batches visited SZPU through exchange programs.
Meanwhile, SZPU cooperated with domestic and overseas institutions to hold activities such as ""Summer Camp for Undergraduates from Shenzhen International Friendship-City University League and 'Belt and Road' Countries"" and ""Sino-Canadian Students Cultural Exchange Camp"", building a high-quality and high-level platform for the exchange of international students.
In 2020, due to the impact of the pandemic, regular short-term student exchange programs were suspended. However, SZPU actively innovated exchange ways and held 15 activities such as online student international summer camps and online international lectures, attracting 1,322 overseas students.
Those participating in the short-term student exchange programs are mainly from partner universities and colleges. The program contents, application qualifications, and relevant documents are determined jointly by SZPU and partners.
SZPU would like to partner with overseas institutions to develop short-term student exchange programs.
