Leaders and guests visited the exhibition hall

On May 14, the national launch ceremony of 2023 Vocational Education Activity Week and the opening ceremony of National Vocational College Skills Competition was held at Lutai Convention and Exhibition Center in Weifang. SZPT President Xu Jianlingattended the relevant activities.

Entrusted by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, SZPT took the lead in undertaking the “Belt and Road” exhibition under the theme of “The Strength of Vocational Education on the Road of Chinese Modernization” in the Vocational Education Activity Week. The schedule of the exhibition was tight and the task was heavy. The leaders of our college attached great importance to the exhibition, and the staff of the Academic Affairs Office, International Office, Asian-African Center, Institute of Vocational Education and other departments actively participated in the preparation work. The exhibition was divided into international platform building, Chinese standard promotion, international exchange and dialogue, international student training, “Belt and Road” research results and other sections, fully demonstrating our achievements in recent years to give full play to the advantages of professional resources, boost the internationalization of vocational education and enterprises to “go global”, and build the “Belt and Road” international cooperation platform. Among them, the four international seminars on “Belt and Road” vocational education organized by our college and the UN Chair on Digitization approved last year were particularly eye-catching, attracting the attention of guests and visitors from home and abroad, and achieving good publicity effects.

During the exhibition, Wu Yanling, Second-level Inspector of Department of Education of Guangdong Province, Zhong Zirong, Director of Division of Vocational and Lifelong Education of Shenzhen Education Bureau, and other relevant persons inspected the exhibition hall and highly affirmed our performance in international vocational education.

It is reported that this Vocational Education Activity Week, themed by “Skills: Make Life Better”, held a theme exhibition “The strength of vocational education on the road of Chinese style modernization”, including eight topics such as manufacturing power, green and low-carbon, rural revitalization, and “Belt and Road”, to demonstrate the important role of vocational education in adapting to national strategy, supporting industrial upgrading, integrating into regional development, and serving the all-round development of people in multiple dimensions, and fully embody the achievements of vocational integration, integration of industry and education, and integration of science and education. Nearly 430 vocational colleges and universities from 30 provinces participated in the exhibition.
