The delegation from Swissnex in China took a group photo with relevant staff of SZPT
On April 13, Philippe Roesle, CEO of Swissnex in China, at the invitation of Sino-German Higher Vocational Education Innovation Center, paid a visit to SZPT for exchanges and research on the internationalization of our college, accompanied by Gu Libing, Director of Academic Relations of Swissnex in China. Li Yue, Vice President of SZPT, Tang Kesheng, Director of International Office, Yang Congkun, Deputy Director of International Office, Martin Fleischer, Director of Sino-German Center, and relevant members of International Office and Sino-German Center received the delegation.
The delegation visited HansLaser Institute and BYD Auto Insitute at Xilihu Campus for information about the integration of industry and education, talent training and internationalization of SZPT.
At the symposium, Li Yue warmly welcomed Philippe Roesle and his delegation, and introduced our educational situation from aspects of talent training, integration of industry and education, international cooperation, etc.. Li Yue said that SZPT hopes to deepen the international exchanges and cooperation with Switzerland in the field of higher vocational education, and build a Sino-Swiss vocational education innovation consortium to explore an innovative path of international vocational education.
During the exchanges,both sides had warmdiscussions on topics such as Sino-Swiss vocational education system, advanced experience of Swiss vocational education internationalization, and cooperation opportunities with Swiss colleges and universities. In the end,bothsides reached an agreement on the goals of cooperation in the near future: firstly, Swissnex in China will assist our college to introduce Swiss high-quality vocational education resources and connect with Swiss universities of applied sciences; secondly, Swissnex in China will introduce relevant experts and scholars to the international conferences organized by SZPT; thirdly, we will assist Swissnex in China to hold exhibitions on Swiss vocational education.
It is reported that Swissnex in China, initiated by the Swiss Federal Secretariat of State for Education, Research and Innovation, is committed to expanding the knowledge and talent exchanges on a global scale. It has set up capacity centers in six international innovation hubs: China, Brazil, Japan, India, Boston and San Francisco, and closely cooperates with science and technology offices of Swiss embassies to promote the Swiss spirit of innovation to the whole world.
