On April 7-9, the “Accounting Skills” segment of 2022-2023 Guangdong Vocational College Students Professional Skills Competition was organized by Guangdong AIB Polytechnic. A total of 244 contestants from 61 colleges across the province took part in the competition. The SZPT team composed of students Yang Lihui, Liang Jiaxi, Xian Wenhui and Zhan Gengjia, instructed by the teachers Li Mengyuan and Zhu Ke from the big data and accounting major of the School of Economics of SZPT participated in this segment, won the first place in the province and successfully advanced to the national competition.

This segment was divided into three parts: accounting literacy and intelligent tool application, financial accounting and big data financial analysis, and big data management accounting. Among them, individual competition was adopted for the accounting literacy and intelligent tool application, while team competition was adopted for the financial accounting and big data financial analysis and the big data management accounting, with a combination of team competition and individual competition for the overall design of this segment, featuring both division of labor and cooperation, conducive to guiding higher vocational colleges to cultivate students’ ability to handle business independently and the spirit of teamwork.
