Recently, the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” segment of 2022-2023 Guangdong Vocational College Student Skills Competition (Higher Vocational Group) was held successfully in Dongguan Polytechnic. After two days and four stages of intense competition, the SZPT team composed of Lin Yanchun, Chen Zihao, Fan Lijuan, Pan Zhu and Zhang Nina from the School of Economics stood out from 64 teams of 320 contestants across the province and won the first prize with excellent performance and achievements.

This segment consisted of four stages: entrepreneurial project plan and report, enterprise simulation operation, team operation decision plan, and defense and project operation, aiming to comprehensively evaluate the participating students’ expertise and competence in finance, trade and entrepreneurship & innovation, innovative thinking and entrepreneurial ability, as well as professional ethics and quality.
