Recently, the Nursing Skills Segment of 2022-2023 Guangdong Vocational College Students Professional Skills Competition, sponsored by Department of Education of Guangdong Province, was held successfully in Guangzhou Health Science College. SZPT teams stood out from 46 participating teams. The team composed of Zheng Wenling and Huang Yilin instructed by Du Yanli and Xie Ruixia won the first prize, and the team composed of Huang Yongqing and Zhou Ying instructed by Liao Yufeng and Ma Chunhua won the second prize.

It is reported that the contents of this segment were mainly based on cases, and the items took the form of track: the first track and the second track. Items of the first track included three technical operations: double cardiopulmonary resuscitation, ECG monitoring, and intravenous infusion; items of the second track included three technical operations: airway humidification, rollover and knockback, and sputum aspiration. The teams should compete in a total of 6 items on 2 tracks at the same time, with very high requirements for the technicalfoundation, skills level andability to adapt to changing circumstances of the contestants.
