On April 8-9, the E-commerce Skills Segment of 2022-2023 Guangdong Vocational College Students Professional Skills Competition (Higher Vocational Group), sponsored by Department of Education of Guangdong Province, was heldat Guangdong Polytechnic of Science and Technology in Zhuhai. A total of 75 teams of 300 student contestants from vocational colleges across the province participated in this segment. After fierce competition, the team led by Meng Junqi and Zhang Zeyan, teachers of modern logistics management in the School of Management at SZPT, composed of Huang Qili from 2020 Logistics Class 4, Huang Xue from 2020 Graphic Class 2, Ma Qing from 2021 International Business Class 2, and Lu Honglue from 2021 International Business Class 3, won the first prize, and entered the national competition of this segment for the first time.

This segment was divided into three modules: operation, live broadcast, and store decoration, aiming to fully evaluate the contestants’ professional qualities such as market prediction, data analysis, online shop operation, visual marketing ability, marketing planning,live broadcast, supply chain management, and teamwork ability.
