On March 10, the awarding ceremony of education and training (practical training) & business incubation demonstration bases for veterans in Guangdong Province was held in Guangzhou. SZPT was selected as one of the first education and training (practical training) demonstration bases for veterans in Guangdong Province. Vice President Li Yue attended the ceremony on behalf of SZPT.

According to the work arrangements for the recognition of education and training (practical training) demonstration bases for veterans in Guangdong Province, and after review of materials by experts, solicitation for opinions, field verification, centralized publicity and other procedures, Guangdong Department of Veterans Affairs decided to recognize five organizations, including SZPT, as the first education and training (practical training) demonstration bases for veterans in Guangdong Province.

In recent years, SZPT has given full play to the advantages of vocational education, and actively explored new ways of vocational education and training for veterans in the new era. Taking employment as the orientation, we have developed more than 200 training programs on UAV control, fire safety technology and other skills, with 45 kinds of vocational qualification and certification, completedacademic education programs for more than 2,500 veterans in total, and granted living allowances in an amount of 10,576,700 Yuan, forming a work pattern based in the Bay Area and serving the whole country, and an education and training mode that “integrates employment with entrepreneurship, skills with certificates, and training with academic qualifications”.
