On September 15, 2020, Yang Xinbin, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shenzhen Polytechnic led personnel in charge ofthe Students' Affairs Division, Logistics and Infrastructure Management Division, Audio-visual Education and Information Center, and other departments to visit relevant academies to learn about the construction of one-stop student community.

Heads of the under-constructionLida Academy and Honghu Academy reported the planning and progress of their construction as well as problems encountered in construction. Yang Xinbin and other leaders visited the functional rooms like the Honghu Reading Room, Honghu School, and Innovative Party Branch of Student Associations, and affirmed the achievements of the functional rooms in combining with student activities and creating an optimistic, elegant, and civilized cultural atmosphere in Honghu Academy.

When investigating established academies, Yang Xinbin attached great importance to their cultural advancement. Heads of theSanshang Academy and Rixin Academy reported their construction of community public cultural space and innovation &entrepreneurship education. With the subject of "National Heroes in Peacetime", the public cultural space of the Sanshang Academy is decorated with paintings designed by teachers and students on community walls through print and spray-painting to build a cultural education base. To meet students' demand for innovation & entrepreneurship practice, Rixin Academy has set up a maker space integrating the consultation of innovation & entrepreneurship policies, educational training, entrepreneurship practice, lecture salon, and other functions plus an innovation & entrepreneurship experience center, and designated professional teachers to guide the work.

During the investigation, Yang Xinbin carefully listened to reports by heads of academies. Considering the difficulties in constructing these academies, Yang indicated that Shenzhen Polytechnic will coordinate resources to support the construction of the one-stop student community academy, and he hoped that academies will make better progress in work based on actual conditions.
