He introduced the university's academic conditions, principles, features, and achievements to candidates and parents from five aspects: leading the establishment of a world-class vocational and technical university with Chinese characteristics; focusing on the integration of industry and education, building a new ecology for talent training and education in the new era; gathering master craftsmen with an educator's spirit; promoting original innovation and shaping an applied research pattern of “standing on the ground and reaching the sky”; basing in the Greater Bay Area and winning a new quality future.

Cui Lian, Deputy Director of the Enrollment and Employment Office, provided a detailed interpretation of this year's enrollment policies and shared strategies and techniques for filling out applications. It was reported that this year, Shenzhen Polytechnic University is recruiting undergraduates from outside Guangdong Province for the first time, adding recruitment from provinces (autonomous regions) such as Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, and Guangxi. The admissions batch includes undergraduate or first batch of undergraduate admissions, with undergraduate majors increased to 15 and 4 professional groups are set, totaling 555 students. Apart from digital animation, which admits art students, the primary subject requirement for other undergraduate admissions is Physics, with no restrictions on additional subjects. This presents distinct features such as minimal restrictions on elective subjects, flexibility in adjusting without dropping out of the admissions pool, and prioritization of professional preferences based on scores without setting score differentials. The enrollment plan for junior colleges in the summer general college entrance examination is 4,822 students, with more refined and reasonable grouping into 20 professional groups, covering physics, history, art, and music.

Following this, deans of the colleges of the nine newly added undergraduate programs -Integrated Circuit Engineering Technology, Big Data Engineering Technology, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology, New Materials and Applied Technology, Software Engineering Technology, Automation Technology and Applications, Industrial Design, Pharmaceutical Engineering Technology, and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Engineering Technology -took turns to present. They provided comprehensive insights into their respective undergraduate programs, covering training objectives, faculty resources, curriculum design, practical training conditions, employment prospects, and developmental opportunities, showcasing the academic strengths and achievements of their programs. Representative Zhang Luohua from the 2023 undergraduate cohort delivered a speech titled “Painting Dreams at SZPU, Reaching for the Stars”, drawing on personal experiences. She encouraged fellow students to utilize the expansive platform provided by SZPU to realize their youthful aspirations.
