Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education issued the Notice on the Announcement of the National “Dual-Certified” Teacher Training Base for Vocational Education (2023-2025) (Document of the Teachers’ Office (2022) No. 28). SZPT is approved as a national “dual-certified” teacher training base for vocational education (equipment manufacturing category), and only 170 colleges and universities are selected in China.

The selection of national “dual-certified” teacher training base for vocational education (the “National Training Base for Vocational Education”) is an important measure to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20^th CPC National Congress and the requirements of “Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of Modern Vocational Education” issued by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, optimize the layout of “dual-certified” teacher training bases in vocational schools, and facilitate the cooperation of secondary vocational education and regular high school education, the integration of education with industry, and the fusion of science and education. To apply for becoming a national training base for vocational education, SZPT has attached great importance and madegoods preparations by gathering such specialties as industrial robot technology, mechatronic integration technology and mechanical design and manufacturing, integrating high-quality educational resources of practice & training, faculty, and integration of education with industry, focusing on the types and characteristics of vocational education, and joining hands with six core members: Jiangsu Huibo Robotics Co., Ltd., Shenyang Sino-German SIASUN Education & Technology Group Co., Ltd., Guangdong Huibo Robotics Co., Ltd., Beijing New Land Education Technology Co., Ltd., Wuhu Institute of Technology and Shenzhen Mindray Biomedical Electronics Co., Ltd., and two general members: Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Polytechnic and A&E Robot Technologies Co., Ltd., for full collaboration and active application, resulting in successful approval.

It is reported that the national training base for vocational education mainly undertakes national training tasks such as the vocational college teacher quality improvement program, the “national training for vocation education” demonstration project, program for training famous teachers and principals, etc., and actively gets involved in teacher training at local levels and vocational schools. The training is mainly aimed at teachers of specialized courses in vocational schools across the country, focusing on the fundamental task of cultivating virtues and talents, updating knowledge and skills in line with new standards, improving the education and teaching ability and the level of school-enterprise cooperation in terms of education, etc.

Successfully selected as a national training base for vocational education, our college will strictly implement the specific requirements of the base construction, actively undertake training tasks, and under the guidance and management of the Ministry of Education and the provincial department, give full play to the advantages and innovative modes to complete the construction of the national training base and the training work with high standards; and by fully digging out the distinctive features of SZPT, combined with the reality of our college, set up an excellent and strong base training team, build a high-quality training brand from aspects of specialty construction, faculty, and school-enterprise cooperation mechanism, and play a core role in the training of “dual-certified” teachers for vocational education.
