On October 29, the Blockchain Technology Application Skills Segment of the 9^th Cross-Strait & Hong Kong and Macao Vocational Skills Competition for College Students in Guangdong Province, sponsored by the Department of Education of Fujian Province, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Fujian Province and other organizations, was held online. The team formed by Chen Jie, Mao Lanqing, Lin Zhisen and Qin Qiyin, under the guidance of teachers Li Ningbo and Huang Rui from the School of Artificial Intelligence, got the highest score of 768.5, and won the first prize with the first place in the blockchain segment in this competition.

The School of Artificial Intelligence conducted multiple rounds of blockchain training among students from this June, and selected 4 outstanding students representing SZPT to participate in the competition. To better prepare for the competition, Li Ningbo and other teachers and students participating in the blockchainsegment overcame numerous difficulties and conducted knowledge Q&A and practical operation competitions in their spare time. Later on, due to the epidemic in Fuzhou, the competition was changed to the online form, which had extremely strict requirements on the venue, equipment, network and invigilation, and the preparation time was less than one week. SZPT attached great importance and tried its best to provide the venue and contact the information center to ensure the network environment for the smooth progress of the competition.

Since the establishment of the blockchain major in 2021, a number of teachers and students have achieved great results in important competitions, including the first and second places in the Shenzhen Blockchain Selection of the Second Vocational Skills Competition of Guangdong Province; the gold medal won by a teacher in the blockchain segment of Guangdong New Vocational Skills Competition; and the first prize won by a team of four students in the Belt and Road BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition.
