The "2021 Huawei ICT Talent Alliance Two-way Selection Meeting - Shenzhen Station" was successfully held at Dayun Square.

(Zhihui Yunxiao) and co-organized by Shenzhen Polytechnic was successfully held at Dayun Square. A total of 61 enterprises provided more than 1,000 ICT jobs.

This Two-way Selection Meeting aimed to build a communication platform for employment between students and enterprises. A total of 61 enterprises in the Huawei ecosystem conducted recruitment in schools, providing over 1,000 ICT jobs for more than 800 fresh graduates from five schools on site. Enterprises and graduate students could directly get in touch through the Two-way Selection Meeting, and the site was lively and orderly. Enterprise representatives that attended the meeting believed that the meeting well fulfilled the needs of enterprises for talent, and students of Shenzhen Polytechnic demonstrated high overall qualities during the interviews.

Xu Jianling delivered the opening speech of the Two-way Selection Meeting. According to him, great changes are happening in the information industry in recent years, new technologies including 5G, Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence are emerging. As the leading technology enterprise in China, Huawei has established Huawei ICT Academy with Shenzhen Polytechnic and conducted in-depth cooperation with the latter in multiple technological fields, cultivating thousands of technology professionals certified by Huawei. In the future, both sides will keep the in-depth cooperation in training talent and integrating industry and education.

Sun Gang, Director of the Enterprise Business Group Talent Development Department of Huawei, mentioned in his speech that the Talent Alliance Two-way Selection Meeting was an important measure for Huawei to organically combine the talent ecology with the industrial ecology and realize the ICT talent supply and demand integration. Huawei is willing to further strengthen cooperation with Shenzhen in talent, technology, education, industrial projects, etc., to provide colleges in Shenzhen with more talent training, teacher training programs, and student employment opportunities, and to gather more wisdom and strength for the construction of "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area".

Dai Yi, Chairman of Shenzhen Xunfang Technologies Co., Ltd., introduced the major breakthroughs made by Shenzhen Xunfang Technologies Co., Ltd., Huawei, and Shenzhen Polytechnic in talent training exploration and innovation practice over the past three years. This year, the three parties worked together again to innovate the talent training model and carried out the "Bestall Program" for ICT sales elite training which is the first professional training course for ICT sales in schools in China, to achieve the sales expansion and sales thinking improvement of nearly 100 ICT sales "experts".

Liu Kangjia, a student of the Elite Sales Preparatory Class of the Bestall Program in Shenzhen, shared the learning experience of the class and expressed the pleasure of being in the class for unforgettable memories.

The team ofShenzhen Polytechnic won the first prize in the final competition in ICT Competition in Shenzhen.

At the meeting, leaders and guests presented awards to the winners and teachers of the final competition in Shenzhen of the 2021 Huawei University Student ICT Competition Practice Competition and hoped that they would continue to strive for further performance in the national competition. It is reported that the representative teams of Shenzhen Polytechnic, Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology, Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen Technician College, and Guangdong Xin'an Vocational and Technical College won the first, second, and third prizes of the final competition in Shenzhen in the 2021 Huawei University Student ICT Competition Practice Competition ended on November 6, and the team that won the first prize will successfully enter the national competition on behalf of colleges in Shenzhen in December.

The Two-way Selection Meeting started after the opening ceremony. Based on their professional skills and interests, the student candidates actively recommended themselves, communicated with the recruiting enterprise HR, and inquired about details such as job requirements, salary, and business development of the companies. It is worth mentioning that in the recruitment information of many companies, priority is given to candidates certified by Huawei.

During the Two-way Selection Meeting, the leaders participating in the meeting also visited Shenzhen Polytechnic Huawei ICT Academy and the Smart Classroom to exchange the results of the cooperation between Shenzhen Polytechnic and Huawei about talent cultivation and to discuss the deepening of the integration of industry and education and promoting the construction of industrial colleges.
