Recently, the “Legal Practice” segment of 2023 “BOC Cup” National Vocational College Skills Competition (Higher Vocational Group) was held in Hebei Professional College of Political Science and Law. In the two-day session, a total of 123 contestants of 41 teams competed around the three modules: “Legal Basics”, “Production and Archiving of Legal Instructions” and “Case Analysis and Reporting”. The students Cai Yulu, Zhang Mengzhen and Zhang Keyi, under the guidance of the teachers Ba Zhuo and Wang Jing from major of legal affairs in the School of Economics, participated in the competition on behalf of Guangdong Province and won the second prize by group.

The legal practice skills competition was included in the national competition for the first time, which adheres to the purpose of promoting education through competition, promoting study through competition, promoting reform through communication, and promoting construction through competition, focuses on promoting the high-quality development of legal vocational education, corresponds to and radiates legal practice jobs, reflects professional core competence and core knowledge, covers expertise and professional skills, and provides a platform for teachers and students of legal vocational colleges and universities to display skills and exchange views.
