Recently, the “Robot System Integration Application Technology” segment (for teachers and students) of 2023 National Vocational College Skills Competition (Higher Vocational Group) came to an end in Jinan. The team of Dong Zhen and Wu Yongrui, two students (2022) from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, under the guidance of two teachers Li Liangtian and Liao Qianghua, won the second prize by student group. Li Liangtian and Wen Shuangquan won the second prize by teacher group.

The competition corresponded to the development needs of new technology for industrial robot system integration, and integrated PLC control technology, virtual debugging technology, machine vision technology, industrial network technology, industrial robot field programming and offline programming technology. In order to prepare for the competition, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering set up a team for the national competition, formulated a thorough preparation plan and carried out strict training. The team constantly improved the details, repeatedly checked the gaps in the training situation, and ensured that the students could participate in the competition under the best condition.
