On June 3-4, the “Industrial Network Intelligent Control and Maintenance” segment of 2022-2023 Vocational Skills Competition of Guangdong Province, sponsored by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, was successfully held in Xili Lake Campus of SZPT. A total of 38 teams composed of 76 contestants from 25 colleges and universities across the province competed on the stage. After fierce competition, our teachers Shi Ran and Zeng Lingyu, and students Chen Liyou and Wu Yusen (2021) won the first prize (first place) of the teachers’ competition and students’ competition respectively, and both advanced to the national competition.

This segment was a new event, and it was only three weeks from the announcement to the holding of the event. Our staff worked overtime and devoted themselves fully into the preparation for this segment, striving to provide a good competition environment and a high-quality communication platform for intelligent manufacturing education. This segment was praised by the inspectors, expert panels, judges, and teachers and students of the participating colleges and universities.
