On May 21, the 3^rd Vocational Skills Competition of Guangdong Province (the “Competition”) came to an end at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, which is a comprehensive vocational skills competition of the largest scale, the highest level, the most segments and the widest influence, with a total of 92 competition items, and 1,058 contestants from all over the province. By virtue of solid vocational skills and excellent quality, SZPT students won 5 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals and 1 excellence award in the competition.

The students prepared well and trained hard before the competition; and during the competition, they overcame difficulties, withstood pressure, responded calmly, and practiced the craftsman spirit of excellence and the life ideal of becoming skilled talents. The staff of the Academic Affairs Office and relevant schools made every effort to support the organization, service, assurance, liaison, coordination and other related work, ensuring the efficient and orderly progress of the competition.

Our college will fully implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on the work of skilled talents, use all endeavors to organize coaches and students to prepare for the 2^nd Vocational Skills Competition of the People’s Republic of China, strive to improve the quality of skill talent training, and encourage more teachers and students to firmly take the road of becoming skilled talents to serve the country.
