Recently, in the “Internet Live Marketing” segment of 2022-2023 Guangdong Vocational College Students Skills Competition, sponsored by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, the students Luo Tianle and Wang Xingru (2021), together with Zhong Jiaxin and Xu Jiali (2022), majoring in cultural creativity and planning at the School of Digital Creation and Animation, coached by the teachers Wang Wei and Cai Yaoyi, won the first prize of the provincial competition, taking the second place in total scores, and thereby obtained the qualification to enter the national competition. A total of 264 students from 66 higher vocational colleges in Guangdong Province participated in the competition. Based on the background of the rise of livestream e-commerce, the segment attached great importance to the policy of integrating professional qualities and ideological and political elements into higher vocational education. According to the skill requirements of live marketing positions, the whole segment was divided into three modules: e-commerce live streaming skills, comprehensive operation skills for live marketing, and marketing planning and product roadshow publicity.
