On April 12-14, the “Complex Parts Multi-Axis Linkage Processing Technology” segment of 2022-2023 Guangdong Vocational College Skills Competition, sponsored by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, was held in Heyuan Polytechnic. Lian Zecheng and Yang Zetong, students majoring in mechanical design and manufacturing, won the first prize of Guangdong Province under the guidance of their coaches Li Yuwei and Li Ying.

“Complex Parts Multi-Axis Linkage Processing Technology”, as part of the national competition, integrates the digital process design, complex parts modeling, complex parts multi-axis linkage programming and simulation, numerical control programming and processing of auxiliary parts, complex parts multi-axis processing, innovative design and processing of parts, assembly and debugging of parts and other aspects, covering the core courses of mechanical majors. Students are required to have solid expertise, skilled hands-on ability and innovation ability.
