On November 4, SZPU and Huidong County held a progress meeting for the "Double Hundred Initiative" at the Mingde Building on SZPU's Xili Campus. The meeting was attended by Yang Xinbin, SZPU Party Secretary; Li Bingsheng, Vice Mayor of Huizhou City and Party Secretary of Huidong County; and Liu Yonghui, Executive Deputy Mayor of Huidong County. Representatives from SZPU’s Office of Organization and Human Resources, School of Continuing Education, Admissions and Employment Office, and the county service team, as well as officials from Huidong County’s Party Committee Office and Education Bureau, were also present.

Li Bingsheng stated that since the launch of the "Double Hundred Initiative," Huidong County and SZPU have established a close partnership, resulting in the initial completion of five cooperative projects in areas such as industrial development, urban and rural planning, grassroots talent training, and public services. He expressed hope for further advancement in resource sharing, complementary strengths, mutual engagement, and shared success. Li emphasized the following: first, continuing to strengthen the regular communication and coordination mechanism to enhance the quality and efficiency of the "Double Hundred" projects; second, expanding cooperation in additional areas such as vocational education, school-enterprise talent development, and rural landscape planning.

Yang Xinbin affirmed that SZPU has made the initiative a top priority by establishing a comprehensive work framework, assembling multi-level task forces, and implementing a project-driven approach focused on five key measures: capability enhancement, productivity increase, income growth, environmental improvement, and expansion of project impact. SZPU will continue to prioritize resources and funding for these projects, aiming to make significant contributions to rural revitalization in Huidong County.

Du Sen, Deputy Leader of the county service team, presented the primary achievements of the first batch of joint projects under the initiative and outlined plans for future projects. Leaders at the meeting also engaged in in-depth discussions on challenges in project implementation and strategies for future work.

Before the meeting, Huidong County leaders visited SZPU’s BYD Applied Technology College, Huawei ICT Academy, and Integrated Circuit Key Materials Research Institute. They expressed appreciation for SZPU’s achievements in vocational education and talent development.
