The job fair was held simultaneously at the Xili Lake and Liuxiandong campuses.
On October 16, to promote high-quality and full employment for graduates, broaden employment channels, and provide a high-quality job-seeking platform, our university, in collaboration with the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, the Shenzhen Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Nanshan District, organized the first campus job fair for the Class of 2025 at the Universiade Square in Xili Lake Park and the Basketball Court at Liuxiandong Campus.
At the fair, Party Secretary Yang Xinbin, Deputy Party Secretary and President Xu Jianling, and Vice President Dong Chaojun visited the site to guide students, gaining insights into their job-seeking plans and application statuses. They also exchanged views with employers on recruitment needs and development strategies, encouraging students to leverage their strengths, plan their careers thoughtfully, and take proactive steps toward employment, ensuring a fulfilling conclusion to their university journey.
To accommodate students from both campuses, the Admissions and Employment Office arranged company booths according to the specialties offered at Xili Lake and Liuxiandong campuses. Nearly 400 reputable employers attended, including BYD, ZTE, Shenzhen Airlines, Han’s Laser, Huawei’s Smartcom, SINOPHARM, SF Express, China Water Affairs Group, Chenguang Dairy, Xpeng, and NIO. These companies represented sectors such as semiconductors and integrated circuits, software and information services, networking and communications, artificial intelligence, digital creativity, new energy, comprehensive health, and new materials, collectively offering over 12,000 job opportunities. Leading up to the event, the university precisely informed graduates of available positions and companies via WeChat official accounts, the website, and 5G messaging, enabling them to identify target companies and job booths in advance, which greatly improved on-site application efficiency.
At the event, graduates, dressed in professional attire and carrying their résumés, formed long lines in front of company booths. The fair attracted over 5,500 job-seeking graduates, with participating companies receiving more than 12,000 résumés. The event also featured comprehensive service booths offering résumé evaluations, career guidance, policy explanations, and one-on-one counseling, providing career assessment and résumé analysis to help students plan their careers effectively.
The university will continue organizing specialized job fairs by industry to support employment initiatives for the Class of 2025, ensuring structured and ongoing assistance for graduates in their job search.
