The ceremony was held at the Nanshan District People’s Court

On June 29, the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between SZPT and Shenzhen Nanshan District People’s Court & unveiling ceremony of the internship base was held at the Nanshan District People’s Court. Xu Jianling, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of SZPT, attended the ceremony. Zhong Hua, Vice President of Nanshan District People’s Court, presided over the ceremony. The two sides signed a memorandum of school-enterprise cooperation and a memorandum of cooperation on Party building.

Xu Jianling said that the cooperation between SZPT and Nanshan District People’s Court aims to practice the “nine common” education model, strengthen cooperation with government agencies and industry enterprises to jointly carry out talent training, Party building, and ideological and political education, train more high-quality legal talents in the new era for the rule of law construction in Shenzhen with both theoretical basis and practical ability, and build a community of high-quality legal profession. He said that SZPT has a long-term and in-depth cooperation foundation with Nanshan Court, and more than 50 students majoring in legal affairs from the School of Economics come to Nanshan Court every year for practical teaching activities such as on-site internship and post-graduation internship. Every year, many graduates of legal affairs are employed by Nanshan Court to work as clerks, judge assistants and other roles.

Ma Wenquan said that the two sides have cooperated on the co-construction of party affairs, the construction of the law major, the training of professional talents, the academic research, and other aspects, jointly promoting the construction of Shenzhen as a pioneering demonstration city for rule of law. He spoke highly of SZPT’s educational outcomes, and fully affirmed our achievements in talent training and serving the local economy. He said that at present, there are more than 10 graduates of legal affairs working in Nanshan Court, and all of them have become key forces of various positions. Every year, SZPT sends a large number of interns to the court for practical teaching, which exercises students’ professional skills, and also makes important contributions to solving practical problems for the court.

Xu Jianling and his delegation visited the court’s litigation service center, legal culture museum, library, etc., and met some graduates and interns of legal affairs working in the Nanshan District People’s Court.
