In March, “Golden Apple Ranking” released the 2022 China Higher Vocational College Competitiveness Ranking, evaluating 1,484 higher vocational colleges nationwide. SZPT ranks first on the list, and this is also the seventh consecutive year that we rank first in the competitiveness of national vocational colleges.

It’s reported that “Golden Apple Ranking” (also known as “China Evaluation Ranking”) is developed by CASEE, ZAHE, Research Center for Development Strategy and Evaluation of Provinces with Powerful Higher Education, Research Center for Chinese Science Evaluation, and Network of Science & Education Evaluation in China (www.nseac.com). This evaluation of higher vocational colleges, based on the List of National Colleges and Universities in 2021 released by the Ministry of Education and combined with the actual enrollment of colleges, is targeted at 1,516 higher vocational colleges, including 1,484 higher vocational and professional colleges and 32 vocational universities. A total of 899 rankings are generated from different dimensions of college, region, type, category, major, major group, etc.

This evaluation consists of 5 first-level indicators, 34 second-level indicators and more than 100 observation points, with addition of such indicators or data observation points as morality, construction of study style, ideological and political course, demonstration base, industry-academy cooperation, dominant major of last year, excellent teaching material, quality of talent cultivation, integration of education with industry, entrepreneurship and innovation, pilot 1+X certificate, pilot undergraduate education, and impact of paper quality compared with previous years, evaluating the strength and level of 1,484 higher vocational colleges comprehensively, systematically, impartially and objectively.

The Evaluation Report shows that SZPT ranks first, and this is also the seventh consecutive year since 2016 for SZPT to rank first in the competitiveness of national vocational colleges. Zibo Vocational Institute and Wuxi Institute of Technology rank second and third respectively.
