The Students' Social Practice Base of Shenzhen Polytechnic is inaugurated.

On April 27, 2021, Shenzhen Polytechnic signed the Framework Agreement on School-Enterprise Strategic Cooperation and the Framework Agreement on the Construction of the Internship and Training Base for Young Students of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao with Shenzhen Sez Construction and Development Technology Park Development Co., Ltd. and the Vocational Training Council (VTC) at the Party-Masses Service Center of Chuangzhiyuncheng. Besides, they held the opening ceremony of the Students' Social Practice Base there. Attendees of the event (through video) included Dong Chaojun, Vice President of Shenzhen Polytechnic, Zheng Hongbin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of and Chairman of the Labor Union of Shenzhen Sez Construction and Development Group Co., Ltd., and Dr Michael Wang Jianguo, Deputy Executive Director of VTC.

According to the agreements, Shenzhen Polytechnic will join hands with Shenzhen Sez Construction and Development Technology Park Development Co., Ltd. and VTC to build a school-enterprise communication platform centered on the construction of the Internship and Training Base for Young Students of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. It will also deepen cooperation in the construction of a visiting, research and training base, an incubation platform for innovative projects, an exchange forum, an employment recommendation platform and a platform for displaying achievements for the youth of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, so as to explore a new mode of vocational education cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and contribute to the development of the Greater Bay Area.

Last year, the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province issued the Implementation Opinions on Promoting the High-end Development of Shenzhen Vocational Education to Reach the Leading Level in the World. It clearly puts forward in Article 6 a plan of “promoting the coordinated development of vocational education in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, creating a new height for vocational education in the world, innovating the cooperation mode in running vocational schools in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and advancing the establishment of the Featured Vocational Education Park in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with VTC." The document has been included in the list of projects getting the policy support of the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and the task list of Shenzhen City. On December 15 last year, Shenzhen Polytechnic and VTC signed a cooperation framework agreement. In March this year, in order to further implement the above tasks, Shenzhen Polytechnic initiated cooperation negotiations with Shenzhen Sez Construction and Development Technology Park Development Co., Ltd. and VTC by combining regional development strategies with industrial layout and centering on the construction of vocational education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

In the future, Shenzhen Polytechnic will cooperate with Shenzhen Sez Construction and Development Technology Park Development Co., Ltd. and VTC to provide more internship and training opportunities as well as services for the youth of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, build the Party-Masses Service Center of Chuangzhiyuncheng into the Internship-Training and Employment-Entrepreneurship Demonstration Base, enrich the campus culture, promote the growth of the youth, so as to support the socio-economic development of the Greater Bay Area.
