On August 23-25, the “Automobile Marketing” Segment of 2023 National Vocational College Skills Competition (Higher Vocational Group)was held at Henan College of Transportation. More than 320 teachers and students of 68 teams from all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps participated in the event. SZPT represented Guangdong Province in the competition. The students Zheng Qihang from Class 1 of ICV (2021) and Lin Siyin from Class 2 of Automotive Electronic Technology (2021), under the guidance of the teachers Gao Mourong and Cao Genghua of ICV Technology from the School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering, won the first prize (team) in the competition.

It is reported that, the competition was held by form of student team, and included three modules, i.e. “automobile new media marketing planning and sales, automobile insurance survey and claims settlement, and motor vehicle identification and evaluation”, designed to comprehensively examine the contestants’ new vehicle sales ability, automobile insurance underwriting and claims settlement ability, motor vehicle identification and evaluation ability, automobile new media marketing program design ability, communication and expression ability, and teamwork ability.
