The symposium is held in Conference Room 101, Mingde Building.

On the morning of September 11, 2020, Shenzhen Polytechnic held the First Lihu Talent Symposium & Signing Ceremony in Conference Room 101, Mingde Building. Yang Xinbin, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shenzhen Polytechnic, and Wang Hui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection of Shenzhen Polytechnic attended the symposium. The symposium was presided over by Li Zhuomei, Director of theOrganization and Personnel Divisionof Shenzhen Polytechnic.

Wang Hui first introduced the selection of Lihu Talent in 2020. Through the personal application, department recommendation, qualification review, communication review, and defense review, Shenzhen Polytechnic has selected Dong Zijun and other four applicants as participants of the Lihu Scholar Cultivation Program, Wang Sunan and other five applicants as participants of the Lihu Star Teacher Cultivation Program, Li Liangtian and other four applicants as participants of the Lihu Skillful Master Cultivation Program, and Yi Haibo and other four applicants as participants of the Lihu Talent Cultivation Program. Then Wang Hui, on behalf of Shenzhen Polytechnic, respectively signed a cultivation agreement with selected Lihu talents.

After that, teachers began to share their thoughts and experience in such aspects as the understanding of talent work at the school, planning of self-development and team building, difficulties in work, and issues required for the school's support, and actively gave their advice and suggestions.

Yang Xinbin expressed his congratulations to teachers for their outstanding achievements. He asked selected talents to clarify and focus on their own goals; determine and complete "six specific tasks" per year; and patiently establish a competitive base and build a good team. Finally, Yang Xinbin requested relevant functional departments and secondary colleges to strengthen process management, provide service guarantee, listen to talents' suggestions and understand their needs in a timely manner, immediately help talents solve their difficulties, and create favorable conditions for talents to grow and for faculty to develop, thus contributing to the development of Shenzhen Polytechnic.
