On June 25, the Blockchain Application Development and Test Competition of 2022 Belt and Road & BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition was held both online and offline at the School of Software in Changsha Social Work College. Two participating teams, one composed of Gao Xuliang and Chen Qinyu, the other composed of Fu Bo and Mai Lijian, under the guidance of teachers Yi Haibo and Li Ningbo from the School of Artificial Intelligence, won the first prize and the second prize respectively in the online competition. Among them, Gao Xuliang and Chen Qinyu will represent China to participate in the international competition to be held in Russia and compete with excellent participants from all over the world.

It is reported that the Blockchain Application Development and Test Competition of 2022 Belt and Road & BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition is to develop intelligent manufacturing technology, artificial intelligence, digital technology skills and future technology skills with industry 4.0 as the core, focusing on the knowledge and skill points of the participants in blockchain application operation and maintenance, blockchain application development, blockchain application operation and testing, etc. The competition process includes four task modules: application operation and maintenance, application development, application operation and test, and professional quality. In order to better prepare for the competition, teachers Yi Haibo and Li Ningbo led students to visit Tencent many times, learned lessons from Tencent blockchain engineers, transformed the latest knowledge and technology of enterprises into course cases, and taught the advanced knowledge and technology of the competition to students through the course-competition integration. The college provided the greatest support in terms of competition affairs, venue, network and technology to ensure the smooth progress of the competition.

Since the major of blockchain was established in 2021, many teachers and students have achieved good results in important competitions. Four teachers and students formed teams to win the first and second places in the Shenzhen Blockchain Selection of the Second Vocational Skills Competition in Guangdong Province, and won the gold medal and the title of Guangdong Technical Expert in the Blockchain Competition of the Second Vocational Skills Competition in Guangdong Province; one teacher won the gold medal in the Blockchain Competition of the New Vocational Skills Competition in Guangdong Province; four students won the first prize in the Blockchain Competition of the Vocational College Skills Competition in Guangdong Province; one student won the second prize in the Lan Qiao Cup National Competition and the first prize in the Provincial Competition; five students formed a team to win the first prize in the Computer Design Competition of College Students in Guangdong Province; four students formed a team to compete with doctors and masters, becoming the only higher vocational team to qualify for the CCF Sinan Cup Final.
