Nigel Duncan, Chancellor of Fareham College Visited Shenzhen Polytechnic

On the morning of April 3, Jia Xingdong, President of Shenzhen Polytechnic cordially met with Nigel Duncan, Chancellor of Fareham College, head of a three-person delegation,at meeting room 207, Mingde Building of Liuxiandong Campus. 

Jia Xingdong welcomed Chancellor Nigel Duncan and briefly introduced the development history, facultyr esources, school settings, major characteristics, social contributions, campusconstruction, cooperation and exchange, and international development planning of Shenzhen Polytechnic, and he eagerly looked forward to international cooperation between the Polytechnic and Fareham College. 

Chancellor NigelDuncan heartily thanked Jia Xingdong for this interview. He explained the basicsituations of the faculty source, school setting, major development, collegecooperation, and geographical location of Fareham College through PPT andvideo. He consulted in detail about related processes of cooperation in jointprograms and hoped to start cooperation and exchanges with the majors such asautomotive engineering, racing engineering, aerospace and aviation engineeringof the school. 

The two sides alsoconducted in-depth and meticulous discussions on possible cooperation in jointprograms, forms of education, and exchanges between teachers and students, andreached preliminary consensus on the cooperation forms of the aerospace major,short-term exchanges between students of racing engineering, and mutual visitsbetween teachers and students. After the talks, Nigel Duncan and his partyvisited the training room of the School of Communication Engineering and thetraining room of the School of Digital Innovation and Animation. Relevant leaders andteachers from the Foreign Affairs Office, the School of Automobile and the Schoolof Medical Care also attended the meeting.
