Work of art by Professor Zhang Xiaogang of Shenzhen Polytechnic Displayed in Exhibition Tour around America

According to the news of China Press USA, the "Watercolor Masterpieces - American Exhibition Tour of Watercolor Works Collected by Shanghai Liu Haisu Museum of Art in China" was recently held in One Riverside Square in New Jersey in America. Together with the hosts, the Exhibition Tour was jointly sponsored by China Art Center at William Paterson University, N.J., Shanghai Liu Haisu Museum of Art in China, the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in New York. The exhibition displayed 40 watercolor masterpieces from Shanghai Liu Haisu Museum of Art, including the work of art Daylight by Professor Zhang Xiaogang. The displayed works have diverse painting styles, rich and extensive subjects as well ingenious colors and drawings.

Professor Cong Zhiyuan, event curator and Director of China Art Center at William Paterson University, believes that "Western painting is mainly oil painting and Eastern painting is mainly ink painting, while watercolor is a media that is compatible in both Western and Eastern paintings. Organizing this exhibition to make people understand Eastern and Western arts, their interaction, and impact on each other, a new era of Western and Eastern cultural and artistic exchanges can be further promoted, and the understanding between Western and Eastern people can be deepened."

It is reported that the first phase of this exhibition will end on September 17; from September 19 to October 2, the exhibition will be held at the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in New York to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
